Our work includes site development, civil infrastructure, habitat construction, and environmental projects throughout Northern and Central California.
Equipment Experience Required
Candidates should have experience operating several of the following:
Dozers
Motor Graders
Excavators
Scrapers
Skip Loaders
Compactors / Rollers
Experience with Trimble GPS machine control is a strong plus.
Responsibilities
Perform rough and finish grading
Cut and fill to design grade
Operate equipment safely and efficiently
Work with foremen and surveyors to maintain grade
Perform daily equipment inspections
Maintain safe and organized jobsites
Assist other crew members when needed
Requirements
5+ years experience operating heavy equipment in grading or civil construction
Experience reading grade stakes and working with GPS grade control
Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions
Strong safety awareness
Reliable transportation
Valid driver’s license preferred
Preferred
Trimble GPS machine control experience
Public works project experience
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
Pay
