Help Desk Specialist: Possible flexible hours! (Chico)

Position overview:
Provide thoughtful and caring Information Systems support for a corporate-wide network that includes workstations, printers, Microsoft Office Suite and a database program.

Essential duties:
Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to printers, computer systems, software and hardware
Ask questions to determine the nature of problems
Maintain daily performance of computer and printing systems
Troubleshoot printer, computer hardware and software problems
Establish individual account access on company owned networks
General knowledge of common computer security and protection software
Install modify and repair computer hardware and softtware
Install new computer workstations and relocate existing workstations as needed
Install cat 5 cabling for network modifications and expansions or to establish network runs for new and remodel construction
Clean up computers and printers
Become familiar with in-house software and providing troubleshooting support for users

Schedule: We would prefer 40 hours per week, but if you are a student nearing graduation etc. we can work around your schedule if you are available at least 28-30 hours per week!
