I’m a 31-year-old male Looking for a responsible, animal-friendly roommate to rent a cozy bedroom in a 3-bedroom, 2-bath home located on 3.5 acres in picturesque Upper Magalia, CA! I live alone and I have my child part-time, so you’ll need to be family-friendly. Please no drug users or heavy drinkers. You must have a job and be able to pass a background check. The homestead currently has 2 dogs, 3 cats, 5 goats and about 35 free-range Chickens, ducks and Guinea hens at the moment. So, if you come with a dog, it can’t be inclined to attack my animals. If you come with livestock, we can discuss an arrangement, I’m open to boarding horses on the property if that’s something you’re interested in. The room will be available July 1st.
Room Details:
• Size: 11'3" x 10'7"
• Rent: $550/month
• Utilities (PG&E & internet, occasionally propane) shared, average electricity bill is between $180 per month ( $680 would be about your monthly total for rent and utilities.) the only thing is the house that uses propane is the cooking range, so a 5 gallon tank usually lasts a month or two.

Additional Info:
• Animals are welcome with a $100 deposit per (dog or cat), I would prefer no dog only because one of my guardian dogs is very protective and my birds free range.
• First and last month’s rent required upfront: $1,100 total
• If you have a horse, and bring your own fencing and infostructure I’m willing to board for $150 a month. If you’d like a stall I’ll happily build one, board would be $250 a month.
