You are viewing one Continental A-65 -8F engine case core.
Serial number 57558-6-8. This case includes its log book and history.
The case has 3,597 TT, (see photos) It had a flange style crank installed according to the -8F designation.
The bearing bosses and cam journals look very good as well as the case half matting surfaces (void of any fretting).
There appears to be some minor seal flange damage that should be easily repaired.
The case is a core so keep in mind that it will need close inspection and repair of the front seal opening.
Includes the two case halves, log book and data plate.
