Alfie is around 6 months old and is very sweet to people, but unfortunately it doesn’t seem like he gets along with other rats. He’s been separated from other rats for a large portion of his life now because of failed intros. After yet another failed attempt at introductions I feel it’s time to give him to another home. He appears hormonally aggressive towards rats, so I’m not sure if he is able to be housed with other rats, but if you have a lot of patience and care maybe you’ll have a different outcome than I did. Having two cages clogging up my apartment and separate hours of free roam time each day isn’t sustainable long term for me. I know it's controversial to house a rat alone, but it may be the only option for this guy. I’m not capable of dividing so much of my time between him and my other rats, so I’m hoping someone else could adopt him so he gets the love he deserves.

He can come with cages, hammocks, and a bag of food for a small fee if you’d like to take it all with you. He has a large cage, but it is 5 years old and not in good condition. It is preferred if you have a better option.
