Wanted: Part-time Insurance Biller, Bookkeeper, & Office Management for Non-Profit Counseling Center
We are a non-profit, faith-based counseling and life coaching center. We have a wonderful staff of caring and bright individuals. We are looking for a candidate who will have a variety of important skills.
The right candidate MUST have:
-Experience with Quickbooks
-Experience with handling insurance billing
-Good written and verbal skills
-Experience with Word, Excel, and cloud-based filing
-An approachable and friendly demeanor to handle staff and director questions
-An ability to keep client information confidential according to HIPAA standards
Some of the tasks to be performed will be:
-verification of client insurance benefits
-billing various health insurance companies
-tracking insurance payments
-all accounts payable and accounts receivable (A/P, A/R)
-minor bimonthly reporting
-office tasks such as filing and keeping things organized
-picking up mail
-supply ordering and pick up
-maintaining contact lists for staff, clients, and donors
-file maintenance for employees & new hires
The right candidate will have reliable transportation and an honest work ethic. We want someone who has professional standards, but we are also a pretty laid-back office and we want to enjoy our workday!
Pay is commensurate with experience: between $16-$20 to start, for probationary period of 3 months, then potential for increase upon review.
