This 1992–1993 Fender Stratocaster in Lake Placid Blue is a beautiful early-’90s Made in Mexico example from one of the most consistently praised production eras for MIM Fenders.
These early-MIM Strats are known for solid construction, comfortable neck profiles, and excellent reliability—qualities that have made them gig and studio favorites for decades.
The alder body provides balanced resonance, while the ’90s MIM pickups supply bright, articulate tones suited for blues, surf, indie, funk, classic rock, and beyond. The medium-C neck offers easy playability, with smooth fretwork and a fast feel. This Strat remains in excellent shape for its age and comes with a Fender gig bag for protection and transport. The accessory pocket zipper on the bag is broken.
The guitar is all original with the exception of the Fender branded locking tuners, which have the same footprint as the originals. The original tuners are included. The frets are in excellent condition, and the guitar set up very easily with perfect action. The neck is straight and there is room in the truss rod for future neck relief adjustments.
