This 2004 Fender 50th Anniversary American Deluxe Stratocaster celebrates half a century of the world’s most iconic electric guitar with premium appointments and modern playability.
Built in the USA, this special edition Strat features an alder body finished in a striking 2-Color Sunburst, a modern “C” maple neck with a 9.5" radius maple fingerboard, and abalone dot inlays for a touch of elegance.
The trio of SCN (Samarium Cobalt Noiseless) pickups deliver classic Strat sparkle with zero hum, while the S-1 switching system expands tonal range far beyond traditional configurations—offering both series and parallel wiring options for rich, flexible sounds.
This example is in excellent condition and includes its original case and 50th Anniversary neck plate. The frets show very light wear. The pickguard still has the protective plastic layer on it as if it were new. You can always tell when a guitar hasn't been played that much when you look around the edges of the headstock for dings. There are none on this guitar. It set up perfectly for us with room in the truss rod for future neck relief adjustments.
All the original paperwork is included in the original tweed case.
