I had a friend of mine back in 1977 fly to New York City and he went to Ash Guitar and tried out several Gibson Les Paul Customs, and he found two that he thought were the best of the bunch. He purchased both of them and I ended up buying one of them (see the original receipt. Everything is original expect for the pickups which I changed out and put Seymour Duncans active pickups. The guitar also comes with the case and a heavy duty Gibson guitar strap as this guitar is heavy! The guitar plays amazing and has a great metal sound. I'm also selling my Marshall full stack with JMV 410H 100 watt head and two 4x12 Marshall cabinets. See my other post for that.
