The kids in the neighborhood came to my house with this lost dog thinking it was mine because I have 5 chihuahuas and one of them looks like this dog. I kept him in my home and listed him on all the lost and found dogs sites in Iowa and called several shelters. It was hard because he didn't have a tag nor was he microchipped.
One of the shelters saw him on PawMaw and gave the owners my information. It took 3 days for the owners to be reunited. They were very happy because he was lost during the last cold days of winter and I kept home warm, safe and very well fed.
It was funny because I promised him I would find his owners and he looked like he understood and didn't mind staying with us. He had a nice weekend vacation with us. I loved the smiles and happy tears from the owners when they were reunited. That made me happy in my heart plus they don't live too far and promised to bring him over for playdates and free dog sitting when they go on vacation.
It was a community effort of pet lovers that helped reunite Sherlock with his owners. I would truly, truly recommend your site to all my friends. I am so happy to do this because I would want the same done for my dogs. It was very cold outside and we had several coyote sightings in my neighborhood.
Sherlock is getting a dog tag from me as a gift for being so lovable with his name, the owner's address, their phone number and my number in case he gets lost again. I would do it again and again. Thank you so so much for your service.
Milo has been missing since the weekend of January 12. He is an indoor cat who got out due to an unsecured door during the storm, we believe. He is probably scared, but he isn't aggressive. He is mostly white/cream, with orange highlights on ears, etc. His most distinguishing feature is a stubby, bent tail. He is a dear family member and greatly missed. His return will be most appreciated.
3-year-old spayed tabby point Siamese missing near Phillip's Event Center. Has been gone for several months. Very shy and likes to hide under decks. Bright blue eyes. No microchip but had breakaway color. Please text if you see her.
My cat went missing last night around the Pebble Creek/Stone Forest area. I think she took shelter from the rain or got spooked. She's pretty skittish around strangers, but she sort of answers to Helo (sometimes). If you see her anywhere, please let me know!
