About the Role:
We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Kennel Technician to help care for dogs in our facility. The ideal candidate is hardworking, detail-oriented, and passionate about animal welfare.
Responsibilities:
-Feed, water, and monitor dogs daily
-Clean and sanitize kennels, runs, and common areas
-Walk dogs and provide enrichment and socialization
-Observe animals for signs of illness, injury, or stress and report concerns
-Assist with basic grooming (bathing, nail trims as needed)
-Follow safety and sanitation protocols
-Support staff with daily kennel operations
Qualifications:
-Animal handling experience preferred
-Ability to perform physically demanding work
-Comfortable working with dogs of all sizes and temperaments
-Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
-Must be able to work weekends and holidays
