Seeking a reliable, part-time Ranch Hand to head up several morning responsibilities on a private horse property in Chico.
Duties include morning feedings, stall and paddock cleaning, barn upkeep, mowing & landscaping, weed whacking, staining and maintaining a high standard of care for both horses and facilities.
We are looking for someone with an eye for detail, a strong sense of initiative and ability to manage the ins and outs of the property. The ideal individual will be looking for long-term opportunity, values being outdoors and working independently.
Desired schedule: 8:00 AM–11:00 AM, Monday-Thursday (some flexibility & opportunity for additional hours based on seasonal projects)
Compensation: $18 per hour
Must have reliable transportation and references.
