Get ready for fire season with your very own firetruck!
1975 Ford F750 firetruck conversion by Howe using a Waterous pump. Starts, runs, pumps water, and stops well. Tank holds 750 gallons of water, and comes with 40' of 2 1/2" hose for drafting from a fire hydrant or external tank. Draft port uses 2 1/2 NH threads.
The tank does not leak, but the anti-slosh baffles were rusted out and have been removed. Driving with water in the tank is not recommended, as the sloshing water could cause loss of control.
I parked it near a water tank and used the draft hose to draw water from the tank.
Comes with a short ladder, two lengths of large diameter rigid draft hose, tools to work the hose fittings, and two hoses on reels. I don't remember how long they are, but probably about 50'. The reels feature an electric power winder.
Siren and PA system work, too.
Also comes with both Ford and Waterous manuals, along with a set of illustrated instructions I put together to start and run the truck and pump.
