Season Fin, a new Japanese restaurant in Chico, is looking for a skilled Sushi Chef to join our opening team. We’re building a kitchen focused on precision, freshness, and consistency — and we’re looking for someone who takes pride in their craft.
Responsibilities
Prepare sushi, sashimi, rolls, and specialty items with accuracy and speed
Maintain high standards for food safety, cleanliness, and presentation
Manage prep, inventory, and fish rotation
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service
Uphold Season Fin’s commitment to quality and hospitality
Requirements
Previous experience as a sushi chef or sushi cook
Strong knife skills and understanding of sushi preparation
Knowledge of proper fish handling and storage
Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
Reliability, professionalism, and attention to detail
