The Diverse Minds Film Festival invites any community member to submit your original video to be included in the 2017 Diverse Minds Film Festival.
The Diverse Minds Film Festival is intended to shine a light on individuals living with and in recovery from mental illness. Funded by the CalMHSA's Each Mind Matters community education program, are currently accepting shorts, animations, and other films highlighting the challenges and successes that individuals experience when living with mental illness and other life challenges.
The regional focus of this event is "Superior California," including residents of Butte, Shasta, Siskiyou, Tehama, Trinity, and Glenn Counties. While applicants from outside of this geographical area can enter, preference will be given to Superior California Residents.
The focus of this one day festival is on Short Films. Please limit submissions to videos or films with a total run time of under 45 minutes.
