My Late Father in Law purchased this in 60's from Busvan S.F. from an auction of furniture items
removed from the Spreckles Mansion. I can only verify this by his end of life discussions.
Alma Spreckles had furniture brought from England and France around the horn before the Panama Canal was finished.
The original leaves were used by him to restore the ships in the Waterfront Maritime Museum so they are not available.
With new leaves it could sit up to 20-26. It is supported by a large expanding base with wood rollers under the legs.
Too big for our house. Works great with a cloth but with some basic buff-restoration would be an elegant conference table
or restaurant Group seating. I can deliver on my truck and guide set up, but you must have a crew of two big guys or 3 regular for loading who will also be needed for inspection. Table is sturdy-undamaged and strong enough to support the guests dancing on it.
