PBS's Gwen Ifill has a pro-Obama book scheduled for release on inauguration day, January 20, 2009. She has been openly in support of Obama and has an obvious financial interest in Biden doing well in the debate and Obama winning the election. The McCain campaign did not know about Ifill's bias toward Obama. (Is anyone surprised about the media bias toward Obama at this point?)

The way things are now (September 26, 2008), I feel relatively comfortable, but I'm not sure how long it will last. The pastor who spoke against gays through the bible went to jail. Essentially, if you use the bible to talk about gays your committing a hate speech and you will go to jail. Why are so many people more comfortable with irate, bumbling people that make haste decisions about our nations health, education and children based on their own morals and standards. In other words, what they want America to be based on what they were taught, even if it's not really what is best for America.

In this election year take a good look at what Obama and McCain are saying and doing. Actions speak louder than words sometimes. Take your head of the clouds and look at what is really in front of us. In this election year make sure you don't make a decision you will regret 2 years down the line. No matter who you support make sure you can be comfortable with that decision in a crowd no matter how they feel. What is most important to you in this country? What are your values and how do you want America to be for our next generation? Get involved and make a choice that you can stick with.
